About

António Nuno de Moura Marques Correia de Faria is an education specialist with over thirty years’ experience in science education, curriculum design, and pedagogical leadership. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology – Education Training Branch from the University of Porto (1996), a Master’s degree in Education with a specialisation in ICT in Education from the University of Lisbon (2011), and a PhD in Education (ICT in Education) from the same institution, completed in February 2025. His academic background also includes a Specialisation Course in Educational Sciences, a Postgraduate Course in Genetics for Teaching, and training in Portuguese Sign Language. António is a Collaborating Researcher at UIDEF – Unidade de Investigação e Desenvolvimento em Educação e Formação, University of Lisbon. He is recognised for integrating ICT into teaching, leading innovative educational projects, and promoting scientific literacy. Deeply committed to student success, he focuses on effective study strategies, concentration, and academic resilience, while empowering learners to exceed their own expectations. His work is supported by a strong portfolio of scholarly publications, ongoing professional development, and active engagement in educational research.
