Current Position: Associate Professor/Researcher in Genetic of Cancer in the Department of Pediatrics, Shinshu University School of Medicine, in Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan.

Graduated from College of Medicine of Mosul, Iraq, University of Mosul; M.B.Ch.B., (1993). Training in Pediatric Hemato-oncology department, (1997-1999) in the Children Welfare Teaching Hospital in Baghdad, Baghdad Medical City in Iraq. Get the Diploma in Pediatrics College of Medicine, Baghdad; D.C.H. Get the board doctorate from Arab Board for Pediatrician and became a member in the Arab Board Pediatrician Council, Damascus; C.A.B.P. (2001). Graduated from Shinshu University School of Medicine, Matsumoto, Japan; Ph.D. in pediatric oncology & Genetic of Cancer (2013). From 2013-2014 worked as a chief of specialist doctors/ consultant pediatric hemato-oncologist & geneticist, in Pediatric hemato-oncology department in Ibn-Al-Atheer Teaching Hospital for Children/ and Al-Hamdanya General Hospital in Mosul. From 2013 has the position of researcher in Shinshu University.

Since 1993 member in Iraqi Medical Association, from 2000 member in Iraqi Pediatrician Committee, from 2004 member in Cancer Control Committee, in Mosul Oncology Specialists Committee. Member in Friends of Cancer Patient's organization, and in Iraqi -Jordanian Pediatric Oncologist Society in Iraq. In 2004, became a member in Japan-Iraq Medical Network (JIM-NET) and Japan-Chernobyl Foundation, (JCF). From 2005 joined Mosul Oncology society. From 2006 member in Jordanian Society of Pediatric Oncology (JSPO). And from 2007 became a member in Iraqi Society of Hematologists (ISOH). From May 2014 joined the group of POEM (Pediatric Oncology East and Mediterranean Group).

Conferences: participated in 28 international medical conferences outside Iraq, as well as, 15 international medical conferences inside Iraq, organized and supervised 3 collaborative conferences in pediatric hemato-oncology, between Iraq and Japan.

Honors:

• Extra prize by Alumni Association Award in FY 2012, in Shinshu University School of Medicine, for medical article, “Genetic evaluation of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia in Iraq using FTA cards”. Pediatr Blood Cancer. 2012;59 (3):461-7, which made a huge and meaningful contribution to medical science.

• Global Medical Discovery has selected the paper [Genetic evaluation of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia in Iraq using FTA cards] as high-quality research deserves recognition, and considers it within the key studies.

• Honoring from the 117th Annual Meeting of the Japan Pediatric Society, held in Nagoya, Japan 11th-13th April 2014, for the published papers (Genetic evaluation of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia in Iraq using FTA cards) and (Analysis of class I and II aberrations in Iraqi childhood acute myeloid leukemia using filter paper cards) concerned with overseas collaboration for genetic analysis using FTA cards.

• Honoring from the 10th SIOP (Scientific International Society of Pediatric Oncology) Congress the prize of the best poster entitled (Rapidly Progressive Kaposi’s Sarcoma in an Iraqi Boy Received Valproic Acid: Case Report and Review of Literature)
