About

Currently, I am pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Population Studies under the guidance of Professor C J Sonowal at the International Institute for Population Sciences in Mumbai. In addition to a B.A. (Honours) in Geography from Delhi University, I have completed a Master in Science (M.Sc.) in Geography from Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra (Haryana) and a Master in Population Studies (MPS) from International Institute for Population Sciences in Mumbai. Furthermore, I hold a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Population Studies. In addition to UGC - NET/JRF in Geography, Rahul cleared the UGC - NET exam in the Population Studies Discipline. The research domains of Migration and Urban Studies, Livelihood Issues, Tribal Issues, Ageing, and Regional Inequality are the main areas of interest for Rahul in his academic career. He has published a few research papers related to the issues of migration, urbanization, and livelihoods in some of India's reputed peer-reviewed and UGC-listed journals.
