Tiago Da Silva Rocha

Tiago Rocha da Silva is Coordinator of the Telecom Systems & Technologies Development Unit at INOV – Instituto de Engenharia Sistemas e Computadores Inovação. Senior Engineer, Coordinator at INOV of Telecommunications Systems & Technologies Unit. He is a telecommunication expert, with more than twenty-five years of experience involved in consulting and advice for different sectors, including Public Sector, Telecom Operators, Utilities, Bank, Airport and Health sector. Extensive experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams on national and international projects. Tiago Rocha da Silva, as long experience in participation in Research an Innovation projects under Nacional and EU-funded programmes at least from 1990, from RACE1022 programme more recently in AAL6, EUROSTARS\EUREKA, FP6, FP7 and H2020. Within the scope of his participation in scientific, National and International, projects, it was possible to established links of cooperation with partners with different skills (namely end-users, companies and international research groups). The work developed in these projects has contributed to generate artefacts that constitute systems and fragments with applicability to different contexts of use, involved different areas namely Monitoring, Control and Surveillance (MSC) & Information, Communication and Electronic Technologies (ICT).

Responsible for the management of some of these projects including, the proposal phase, negotiation, contracting, execution and acceptance of the project by the client.
