About

As a bilingual, bicultural speech-language pathologist with 20+ years of experience, I specialize in the assessment and treatment of monolingual and bilingual children (birth-5 and school age). At the Marcus Autism Center/Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, I am currently involved in both clinical work and research projects ranging from consulting on grants that focus on parent training/education of Spanish-speaking Latinx caregivers with ASD to implementing/coaching on Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBIs) to young children (and families) with early social communication delays and/or ASD. I am mostly interested in collaborating with other professionals, students, parents/caregivers on creating pathways for children and families facing racial and ethnic disparities related to access of ASD screening, diagnosis, and interventions (support).
