Mestre em Educação pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (PPGE/UFSM) - Linha de pesquisa em Educação Especial e Transtorno do Espectro Autista. Membro do Grupo de Pesquisa Educação Especial e Autismo (EdEA/UFSM). Licenciada em Pedagogia, especialista em Neuropsicopedagogia Clínica e Educação Inclusiva, especialista em Recursos Estruturados e Estratégias Clínicas no Autismo. Pedagoga na Fundação Catarinense de Educação Especial (FCEE), onde atua com ênfase em Transtorno do Espectro Autista, nos âmbitos de orientação, assessoria, formação e atendimentos prestados pela instituição. Supervisora de equipe psicopedagógica no Centro de Desenvolvimento Integrar. Possui treinamento básico e avançado no Programa TEACCH® pela Universidade da Carolina do Norte (UNC/EUA).
