Andre Towner, Founder and Managing Partner of Aya Solutions, is a beacon of innovation and leadership in the realm of food sovereignty and security. With a Bachelor of Science in Aviation from Jackson State University and graduate degrees in Theology and Business Administration, Andre brings a unique blend of academic rigor and practical wisdom to his work. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership at Eastern University, his research focuses on enhancing food sovereignty and security through alternative food systems and networks.
At Aya Solutions, he spearheads efforts to empower historically marginalized communities by amplifying their voices and strengthening their food production, processing, and distribution capabilities. His work is deeply embedded in the principles of faith, resilience, and community empowerment, aiming to overcome regulatory and operational challenges, secure funding, and enhance the impact of organizations working towards food sovereignty.
Andre's extensive experience in partnering with faith communities and leveraging their collaboration with social, private, and public sectors has been instrumental in transforming social structures to facilitate holistic, vibrant communities.
