Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Investments and Construction Economics (IAICE), Advisor to the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (RAACS), Advisor to the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS), Head of the Department of Building Structures (BS) of Vladimir State University named after Alexander Grigorievich and Nikolay Grigorievich Stoletov (VlSU).

Main scientific and practical areas:

• calculation and design of building structures;

• reinforced wooden structures;

• inspection and testing of buildings and structures;

• technical operation of buildings and structures;

• energy efficiency and energy saving of buildings and structures.

Roshchina S.I. Director of the Regional Scientific and Educational Center for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving Technologies (RSEC EEEET), created on the basis of VlSU in February 2012.

Roshchina S.I. is the head of the school of reinforced wooden structures, recognized by the scientific community. Actively participates and manages projects of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere, OJSC RUSNANO, as well as projects under the RF Government Resolution No. 218.

Manages state budget and contractual research and development (R&D). All work is carried out in close cooperation with scientific centers of the Russian Federation, the Vladimir Region Union of Builders, and enterprises in the construction and technical industry. Research results are implemented in real projects during the construction and reconstruction of facilities in the Vladimir, Moscow, Tver and Yaroslavl regions. Member of the Vladimir Region Scientific and Technical Society (STS) and the Vladimir State University Scientific and Technical Council (STC).

Provides consultations on construction, reconstruction and technical inspection of buildings and structures, implementation of scientific and technical support for construction and operation at facilities in the Vladimir region.

Developer of advanced training courses in the field of construction, energy saving and energy efficiency, etc. Every year she acts as an official opponent of dissertations for the academic degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Technical Sciences, defended in the leading dissertation councils of Russia.

Svetlana Ivanovna is an organizer and actively participates with reports at regional, all-Russian and international conferences.
