He has also held academic roles at ASFA, Paris 8, and the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, where he served as the program director of the Technoetic Arts Department. Dr. Bardakos explores subjects including abstraction, computation, narrative forms, art aesthetics, physical and virtual curation, metaphysics, and cybernetics. He currently resides and works between Paris, Shanghai, and Zhuhai, serving as co-editor (member of the EO) of *Technoetic Arts Journal*, a member-at-large of the American Society for Cybernetics, while creating art and leading art research at Cognitive Nexus Shanghai.
