With a pioneering spirit, I have significantly contributed to the development of surgical techniques and protocols in Somaliland, where I have played a crucial role in shaping healthcare.

I earned my medical degree from Amoud University and completed my surgical residency at St Pauls's Hospital Millennium Medical College. My commitment to improving surgical care in under-resourced areas led me to Somaliland, where I established innovative practices tailored to the specific challenges of the region. My work not only focuses on surgical procedures but also emphasizes capacity building and training for local healthcare providers.

In addition to my clinical work, I'm an active researcher and lecturer.
