About

PhD, Associate Professor M.A. Shilov specializes in tribological and physico-mechanical studies of carbon nanostructure dispersions in condensed phases. In 2011, he defended his PhD thesis on "Friction and wear in machines". Since 2025, he has been working at Vyatka State University. Over the past 5 years, he has published 72 papers, including 17 articles in journals included in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, 2 of them in journals of the second quartile Q2. He is the author of two patents and one software development certificate. Co-author of two chapters in collective monographs. Since 2019, he has been a member of the Russian Society for Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics. He supervised the preparation of the postgraduate student for the defense of the thesis of P.V. Korolev in the specialty 2.5.3. Friction and wear in machines, which was successfully defended in 2023 on the topic "Anti-wear and friction characteristics of elastomeric materials based on SKI-3 and SKS-30-ARKM-15 rubbers reinforced with carbon nanotubes". The project manager has prepared a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in specialty 2.5.3. - Friction and wear in machines on the topic "Tribotechnical and rheological characteristics of lubricants with additives of carbon nanostructures".
