Евстифеев Роман В

Born in 1966 in Vladimir, after Vladimir State Pedagogical University (specialty - history and English) worked as a teacher.

In 1990 he was elected to the Vladimir Regional Council of People's Deputies. From 1990 to 1994 he was a deputy of the regional Council of People's Deputies of the Vladimir region. From 1991 to 2001 - in the civil service in Vladimir region administration. The sphere of responsibility - strategic analysis and optimization of systems management at the regional level.

In 1995 he graduated from the Russian Academy of Public Administration (Moscow), "Political Science".

Doctor of Political Sciences (theme of the thesis: "Politico-administrative reforms in the context of global challenges: Russian and foreign problems and trends").

Since 2001 Mr.Evstifeev has worked as a lecturer, professor, head of the department of political science of Vladimir Branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. Since 2011, he heads lab of the socio-political analysis, organizes and conducts research on various issues of political development. He is author of over 100 scientific works, including 8 monographs.

Main research interests: modern political development of Russia, state management and local authority, globalization and its impact on the political development, the interaction of society and government.

Member of Russian Political Science Association. Member of the Expert Council of Russian Political Science Association. Director of the Vladimir regional department of Political Science Association. Evstifeev cooperates with federal and regional media as a political commentator, expert and analyst.

He is the expert of the rating of efficacy of governors, made by Civil Society Development Foundation.
