К Пракаш Бхаттарай

Prakash C. Bhattarai, PhD, is a Professor at the School of Education, Kathmandu University, located in Hattiban, Lalitpur, Nepal. He received the 2015 Paul Begley Award for his doctoral thesis on ethical leadership. His work was also recognized with a Highly Commended Award at the 2015 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards, selected by the Journal of Educational Administration (JEA). Dr. Bhattarai teaches qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research. His scholarly work primarily focuses on education and development issues in Nepal. With extensive experience as a faculty member, project evaluator, researcher, and trainer, he has collaborated with several national and international organizations. He has also presented research papers and participated in academic and professional training programs in multiple countries. An active contributor to social and educational forums in Nepal, Dr. Bhattarai’s research interests include anti-corruption, integrity, ethics, ethical leadership, inclusion, educational and societal research, comparative education, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and mixed-methods research. Through his research, publications, academic engagement, and advocacy, he seeks to contribute to meaningful educational and social transformation. Institutionally, he held leadership positions, including Head of Department, Associate Dean, and committee chair or member across university, governmental, and organisational contexts.
