Development of methods for the synthesis and conversion of hexaazaisowurtzitane derivatives

Hexaazaisowurtzitanes are representatives of cage amines. Their active study in the field of biological activity began less than 20 years ago with environmental studies of the explosive CL-20. This made it possible to assess the risks to living organisms in the event of possible environmental pollution, as well as to identify the possibility of using the studied chemical compounds as pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and drugs. Currently, the range of compounds of the hexaazaisowurtzitane series has been significantly expanded, and some of them have established themselves as promising substances for the creation of drugs.
Development of manufacturing technologies for pharmaceutical substances

The creation of new drugs and the development of technologies for their production for implementation in the small-scale pharmaceutical industry is one of the most important strategic tasks of the Russian Federation. In the context of the urgent need to carry out the maximum possible import substitution (or import advancement) in the field of pharmaceutical technologies, the main efforts of specialists from various industries (engineers, chemists and pharmacologists) should be aimed at implementing interdisciplinary research. This approach includes the creation of new domestic pharmaceutical substances and/or drugs based on individual or hybrid pharmacologically active substances and the technology for their production from available raw materials with the involvement of production capacities and existing developments of Russian research institutes and enterprises, which is undoubtedly an extremely important and urgent task provided for by the Strategy of Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation.
Development of technologies for the production of organic compounds

At the present time, a limited number of organic chemistry products are produced in Russia, especially in the field of kilogram, microtonnage and small-tonnage synthesis. In view of the political and economic situation, the creation of domestic technologies will strengthen the technological sovereignty of the state and ensure import independence of Russian manufacturers in various industries: household and polymer chemistry, pharmaceuticals, etc.
