Laboratory of Genetic and Environmental Determinants of the Human Life Cycle
The main purpose of the laboratory is to study the genetic and environmental determinants of the human life cycle in order to clarify the key mechanisms of disease development and improve approaches to their early diagnosis, prevention and treatment. Currently, the laboratory staff is studying the prevalence of abdominal obesity and other cardiometabolic risk factors for the development of chronic non-communicable diseases in people aged 25-74 years in the Novosibirsk region (urban and rural residents); features of the adipokine blood profile in people with various chronic non-communicable diseases; the prevalence of the main cardiometabolic risk factors for the development of cardiovascular diseases in small indigenous peoples of the north; development of clinical and biochemical risk meters to assess the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases in people aged 35-74 years in the long-term period;the study of clinical, laboratory and genetic characteristics of various phenotypes of postcovid syndrome
