Research directions
Digital design and modeling of promising mining equipment samples
+
Based on the experience available at KuzSTU in the development of drilling screw machines for civil use and impact machines for carrying out failures, laboratory staff, together with specialists from the Department of Mining Machines and complexes, are developing an installation for carrying out and fixing ventilation failures in combined mode with the simultaneous creation of a digital twin of the machine.
Modeling of the geological environment
+
As part of the research of approaches to the digital transformation of enterprises of the mineral resource complex, laboratory staff, together with specialists from the Department of Surveying and Geology, have created educational materials on modeling the geological environment in the mining and geological information system Micromine Origin, which allows creating three-dimensional models of reservoir coal deposits.
Digitalization of power supply and electric drive systems of mining and industrial enterprises
+
A simulation model of an energy center based on gas piston installations running on coal mine methane has been developed, which allows simulating various modes of operation of the energy supply system in a coal mine, including with a possible option for electric and cold supply of a data processing center (data center) built on the industrial site of a coal mine. Practical significance: The developed model makes it possible to carry out a technical and economic assessment of projects for the introduction of coal mine methane generation. The concept of business diversification of coal companies is proposed, which implies the use of coal mine methane for power supply of data centers built on industrial sites of coal and methane mining enterprises.
Digitalization of power supply and electric drive systems of mining and industrial enterprises
+
A comprehensive simulation model of the power supply system for the excavation site of a coal mine, electric drives of mining equipment and an automatic step-by-step installation of an explosion-proof condenser mine (UKRV) has been developed. Practical significance: The developed model makes it possible to increase the efficiency of choosing UKRV for power supply systems of coal mine excavation sites by 7...20%.
