Synthesis and identification of patterns of formation of biocomposite organosilicon materials
Synthesis and identification of patterns of formation of biocomposite organosilicon materials of significant interest in the fields of ecology, biotechnology, and green chemical technology. The developed materials can be effectively used as biocatalysts. They can be used to create bioreactors, biosensors, biologics for the degradation of toxic compounds, implants, biofuel elements.

Synthesis of new generation antiseptics and disinfectants

Synthesis of new generation antiseptics and disinfectants
One of the main directions of the laboratory's work is the synthesis of new quaternary ammonium compounds (HH) based on available starting reagents. They have pronounced antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral effects, and are currently the basis of most antiseptics and disinfectants. However, there are more and more reports in the scientific literature about the occurrence of bacterial resistance to HH. This is an extremely alarming trend, as already in 2019, global mortality from diseases associated with microbial resistance exceeded mortality from HIV or malaria. Preparations developed in the Laboratory of biologically active compounds and biocomposites have shown high efficiency even against multi-resistant microorganisms. They are not inferior in efficiency to the most popular commercial analogues and retain their activity longer without developing microbial resistance.
