Laboratory "Mechanisms for Ensuring the Economic Security of Europe: Challenges to Russia's National Interests" (OIE)

The research team of the OIE Laboratory is studying the architecture and evolution of the main mechanisms for ensuring the economic security of leading European countries and related challenges to Russia's national interests. Special attention is paid to the study of the activities of key European players in the regions of Africa and the Middle East in the light of increased global scientific and technological competition and, in this context, increased attention to the states of the global South. Within the framework of solving the scientific tasks of the Laboratory, methods and approaches are being applied and developed that combine economic, institutional, regional, country and economic and political research.
