About
Marina Baldi has a permanent position as senior scientist at the CNR-Institute of BioEconomy (CNR-IBE), Responsible of the branch in Rome of IBE, Director of the WMO-Regional Training Centre in Italy (WMO-RTC), member of WMO Commissions and Working Groups.
She has more than 30 years of research experience in Universities and Research Institutes (USA, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, UK, Austria), with a strong background in Physics, Mathematics and Environmental Sciences, and several published papers, and communications at International Workshops and Conferences.
She has a long experience in modelling and in statistical analysis for Atmospheric Dynamics and Climate studies. Presently she is working on climate variability and its impacts on agriculture, water resources, cultural heritage, and on climate extremes.
She is PI or co-PI in several International and National Projects and has a deep experience in dissemination of science results.
