Chronopoulos, Spyridon K.

Spyridon K. Chronopoulos was born in Athens, Greece. In 2001 he received his degree in Physics from the University of Ioannina, Greece and in 2006 he acquired the M.Sc. in ‘‘Modern Electronic Technologies’’ from the same university. He got his doctorate degree in Telecommunications Applications from the same university. He has participated into various research projects. Dr. Chronopoulos has worked at Technological Educational Institute of Epirus since 2004 into various positions and from October 2015 to September of 2018 has served as an Academic Scholar (Adjunct Asst. Professor). He has also worked as an Adjunct Asst. Professor at the Dpt. of Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering, University of Western Macedonia, Kozani, Greece (from October 2017 to February 2019) and at the Dpt. of Informatics and Telecommunications, University of Ioannina, Epirus, Greece (from October 2018 to September 2019). Currently is a post-doctoral researcher at Electronics, Telecommunications and Applications Laboratory of Physics Department in University of Ioannina, Greece. His research interests relate mainly to the design and development of wireless and embedded systems, OFDM, turbo codes, antenna design, satellite links, measuring technology, mathematical analysis, modelling and interdisciplinary applications. He has more than 120 scientific contributions in peer-reviewed journals, peer-reviewed conferences and in book chapters. Dr. Chronopoulos is a verified reviewer of various established scientific journals. He has also participated in the editorial handling of several papers through his membership into various journals' editorial boards and as associate editor of high impact-factor journals. He continues to serve as a Committee Member of well-established conferences. He holds the awards of Top Multidisciplinary Reviewer (September 2017), Top Reviewer for Engineering (September 2018) and Top reviewer in Cross-Field (September 2019) by Publons.
