Mr. Md. Arif Ul Islam is a passionate researcher and dedicated teacher, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics, University of Barishal, Bangladesh. He embarked on his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science from Jagannath University (JNU), followed by a Master of Science from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), both prestigious institutions in Bangladesh. He then joined the renowned research group of Prof. Soga at Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech), Japan, pursuing his PhD. Driven by a desire to contribute to sustainable energy solutions, Mr. Islam's research focuses on the exciting field of next-generation solar cells, photovoltaics, and advanced functional materials. Throughout his career, Mr. Islam has made significant contributions to the scientific community, authoring over 18 research articles published in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI(E)) journals. His achievements have been further recognized through numerous national and international honours, awards, and research grants, reflecting his potential as a rising star in the scientific community.
