Kuddus Abdul Abdul

Dr. Abdul Kuddus is a senior researcher at Ritsumeikan Global Innovation Research Organization (R-GIRO), Ritsumeikan University BKC, Shiga, Japan. He obtained a Ph.D. in Functional Material Science majoring in the synthesis of 2D transition metal dichalcogenides and high-k dielectric materials and their application in electronic and photovoltaic devices from Saitama University, Saitama, Japan. He achieved B.Sc. (Eng.) and M.Sc. (Eng.) in Applied Physics & Electronic Engineering, from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh with first-class first honors. His research area includes the synthesis of 2D-Transition metal dichalcogenides and high k-oxides Materials cells using Mist-CVD, CVD, ALD, spin coat, sputtering technique, and their applications in MOSFETs, CMOS, Photodetector, Sensor, and solar cells. He also works on numerical simulation of photovoltaics and MOSFETs using SCAPS-1D, wsAMPS, AMPS-1D, AFORS-HET, and DFT Simulators.
