Experienced Fellow with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Molecular biology, Recombinant DNA Technology, Sanger Sequencing, next-generation sequencing technologies, Genotyping, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Population Genetics, and Statistical Genomics. Previously worked as a DST-INSPIRE Fellow (SRF) in the Dept. of Biotechnology, Assam University, Silchar till December 2018, and as a full-time Assistant Professor (on Contract) of Genome Science under the School of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Kalyani till October 2021. He is currently working as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur on a project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, where handling UV-Vis, Raman & FT-IR Spectroscopies, DLS methods and other tools and techniques. Interested in pursuing an academic career, for which looking for various challenging posts in India and also in abroad. A strong research professional with a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD focused on the Assessment of germline variants related to tobacco-related oral cancer; Migration pattern of anatomically modern humans; Association of disease prevalence with the prehistoric human migration event; DNA barcoding.
