Вукмирович Милена

Associate Professor at University of Belgrade - Faculty of Forestry, Chair of Planning and Design in Landscape Architecture and Research Associate at Urban Laboratory, Belgrade. She is the Chair of following academic courses: Urbanism and Urban Design at BA studies, Public space design on MA studies and City and Urban Studies on PhD studies. Her research interests are focused on the investigation of the relationship between quality of everyday environment and competitiveness of the cities.

At the present she is engaged as a visiting professor at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Philosophy on Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module EUBAL _ European Union and Western Balkans. Modernisation and Challenges of Integration within which she is focused on spatial aspects of this topics. She was also engaged in the research project Modernisation of the Western Balkans funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Republic of Serbia until 2019.

She is a founder of the CSO 5km/h which aim to promote walking as a sustainable transport mode, co-founder of professional association Urban Laboratory, Belgrade and co-founder of CSO Placemaking Western Balkans. She is also co-founder, member of Scientific and Organising Committee of the International Academic Conference on Places and Technologies (www.placesandtechnologies.eu).
