Карвалью Карла

Carla Manuela Teixeira de Carvalho has a PhD in Accounting from de University of Aveiro and University of Minho, a MSc in Accounting and Auditing from Aberta University and a degree in Accounting and Auditing from the University of Aveiro.

She is Adjunct Professor in the University of Aveiro, at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration. She lectures subjects of Financial Accounting and Reporting in undergraduated and graduated courses of Accounting.

She also teaches the subject Accounting and Financial Reporting in the Doctoral Programme in Accounting at University of Aveiro. She is the coordinator of the Master in Accounting in University of Aveiro, at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration.

Presently, she is full researcher of the Competitiveness, Innovation and Sustainability group from the research unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policy (GOVCOPP). Her current areas of research interest are: Financial Accounting; Financial and Non-Financial Reporting; Accounting Regulation; Earnings Management; Corporate Governance; Intellectual Capital and Intangibles assets; Non-profit Entities; Accounting Education; and Accounting Profession.
