About
Dr. Rajendran Jagathesh Chandra Bose, Ph.D (Co-Founder & CEO-Encure Biotherapeutics)
Dr. JC Bose brings over 15 years of experience in drug development, specializing in AI-driven drug discovery, small molecules, biologics, and translational research. He earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea, where he also gained hands-on experience in stem cell biology and tissue engineering at CHA Biotech, Seoul. Additionally, he holds BPharm and MPharm degrees from India, where he is a Registered Pharmacist.
Dr. Bose completed his postdoctoral research at Stanford University School of Medicine, specializing in cancer nanotechnology, under the mentorship of Prof. Ramasamy Paulmurugan. During his time at Stanford’s Molecular Imaging Program and the Canary Center for Early Cancer Detection, he trained extensively in diverse molecular imaging techniques. His research focused on developing innovative nanoformulation-based therapeutics and applying cutting-edge imaging technologies for early cancer detection and therapy.
He further advanced his research by collaborating with Prof. Maria Kontaridis and Prof. Jason McCarthy at Masonic Medical Research Institute (MMRI), where he innovated novel drug delivery systems targeting cardiovascular and autoimmune disorders, leveraging precision medicine approaches to improve therapeutic outcomes.
His extensive R&D research and management experience includes serving as Managing Director of R&D at Jurata Thin Film (USA) and holding key R&D positions at Serina Therapeutics (USA), Sanofi (India), and LG Life Sciences (South Korea), along with a scientific role at Secant Group (USA).
His contributions to drug delivery systems, vaccine biologicals, and pharmaceutical R&D have driven pioneering advancements in the field.
As Co-Founder and CEO of Encure Biotherapeutics, Dr. Bose is at the forefront of integrating AI and quantum mechanics to revolutionize drug discovery and development. His mission is to accelerate the creation of life-changing therapies that are more accessible, affordable, and effective, transforming healthcare and significantly improving patient outcomes globally.
