Боначеа Джейми

Associate Professor at the Universidad de Cantabria (Spain) in the area of Geomorphology, where I engages in research, teaching, and administrative duties.  

In 2006, I defended his doctoral thesis on geomorphological hazard modeling and risk assessment, earning a European Doctorate mention. 

I have received various scholarships from the University of Cantabria, the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science, and a "Juan de la Cierva" fellowship. 

I am the co-author of over 50 publications (H-index: 18), several book chapters, and monographs, most of which are open access, as well as more than 100 contributions to national and international conferences. Additionally, I have served as a reviewer for prestigious international journals and as a project evaluator for national agencies. 

I have participated in 15 competitive research projects at the international, national, and regional levels and have been a member of the organizing committee for national conferences. My main lines of research are landslide and sinkhole hazard modeling, the analysis of global geomorphological change, and the study of geological heritage and geodiversity as a resource for territorial development and the enhancement of geology.
