Melkam Ayalew Gebru graduated from the Institute of Land Administration at Bahir Dar University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Land Administration and Surveying. He graduated with a master's degree in real property valuation from Bahir Dar University in 2020. Mr. Melkam Ayalew has been working as a lecturer in real property valuation at the Institute of Land Administration, Debre Markos University. He has published five research papers dealing with the determinants of urban land and property value, land rights and informal settlements, mass appraisal and its customization in Ethiopia, and the utilization of continuously operating reference stations in Ethiopia. Mr. Melkam has an interest in the research areas of land administration, property valuation, land value capture, and real estate economics.
