Research directions
Synthesis and use of new ruthenium catalysts for laboratory and industrial purposes in olefin metathesis reactions.
+
The project is aimed at continuing the research of the scientific group in the field of synthesis, studying the properties and application of a new class of ruthenium metal complex catalysts for the olefin metathesis reaction containing the coordination bond ruthenium-chalcogen (O, S, Se, Te) and ruthenium-nitrogen in a six-membered chelate cycle. And also for further optimization of methods for the synthesis of both new organic ligands and complexes obtained on their basis.
Molecular design and synthesis of new azaheterocyclic derivatives with high potential for biological activity and synergistic action in compositions with antitumor substances to increase the effectiveness of cancer chemotherapy
+
The project plans to synthesize functionalized compounds combining various pharmacophore fragments in molecules (indole, isoindole, pyridine, pyrimidine, isothiazole, isoxazole), providing the manifestation of a given physiological effect, including enhancing the antitumor activity of drugs already used, which reduces their therapeutic dose and reduces toxic side effects. The following tasks are being solved in the project. 1. Design of promising molecules based on proprietary and literature data on bioactive compounds of the required spectrum of action. 2. Development of new experimental approaches to the synthesis of potentially pharmacophore heterocyclic ensembles, optimization of the transformations being realized, and establishment of the structure of the obtained substances. 3. Assessment of pharmacological activity (antimicrobial, antiviral, cytostatic effect) and synergistic potential of synthesized substances in combination with antitumor drugs. 4. Molecular design, molecular docking, selection of leading compounds and chemical modification of their structures to enhance their pharmacological action.
