О себе
Родился в 1974 году в городе Ельце Липецкой области. В школьные годы увлёкся химией и, в частности, полимерами и жидкими кристаллами. Закончил школу в 1991 году с золотой медалью и в этом же году поступил на Химический факультет МГУ им. М.В. Ломоносова. С первого года обучения начал работать в области синтеза и изучения жидкокристаллических полимеров в лаборатории Химических превращений полимеров кафедры Высокомолекулярных соединений (ВМС), в которой работаю до сих пор. В 1996 году закончил Химических факультет и поступил в аспирантуру. В 1999 году защитил кандидатскую диссертацию.
В конце 90х и начале нулевых регулярно работал по 1-1.5 месяца в год в Берлине, в Техническом и Гумбольдском Университетах в лаборатория профессора Шпрингера и Штумпе. В 2002 году получил стипендию Александра фон Гумбольда и проработал год в Марбурге в лаборатории профессора Вендорфа.
В 2010 году стал лауреатом Премии Президента РФ для молодых учёных в области науки и инноваций и в этом же году защитил докторскую диссертацию на тему: Многофункциональные фотохромные жидкокристаллические полимерные системы.
Неоднократно выступал на региональных и международных конференциях в качестве пленарного и приглашённого докладчика. На данный момент у меня 174 опубликованных статьи, 3 патента. Статьи процитированы более 3400 раз и индекс Хирша составляет 31 (по данным Scopus).
Активно занимаюсь популяризацией науки регулярно выступая с лекциями и участвуя в записи передач на радио и ТВ.
С 2016 года работаю на кафедре ВМС в должности главного научного сотрудника.
Увлекаюсь музыкой (исполняю техно на большой акустической ударной установке и диджею) и наблюдательной астрономией.
Учёный имеет индекс h, если h из его N статей цитируются как минимум h раз каждая, в то время как оставшиеся (N - h) статей цитируются не более чем h раз каждая.
Для данного множества статей, отсортированного в порядке убывания количества цитирований, которые получили эти статьи, g-индекс это наибольшее число, такое что g самых цитируемых статей получили (суммарно) не менее g2 цитирований.
Публикации с конференций и главы книг не учитываются в графиках «Журналы» и «Издатели».
