Skills
International Teaching Experience. My teaching experience includes a unique opportunity to work with aninternational audience. As an instructor for the "General and ColloidChemistry" course, delivered in English at the St. Petersburg StateUniversity in Cairo, Egypt, I gained valuable insights into interacting withstudents from diverse backgrounds and levels of chemical knowledge. Thisexperience allowed me to successfully adapt curriculum to meet the needs ofvaried audiences, resulting in excellent learning outcomes and positivefeedback from students. This experience has significantly enhanced my Englishpresentation skills, enabling me to confidently and effectively communicate with international audiences.
Invited Speaker Experience. I presented my work on recycling cathode and anode materials from lithium-ionbatteries using electric discharge plasma at two international conferences: the2024 China-Eastern European Experts Cooperation and Exchange Activity and THETHIRD SINO-RUSSIAN SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL FORUM “HIGH-TECH TECHNOLOGIES: FROM SCIENCE TO IMPLEMENTATION.”
Research and Development Experience in Lithium-Ion Batteries. I have significantly contributed to the growth of a research group by initiating and successfully implementingseveral cutting-edge research projects, leading to concrete, measurable results.
KeyAchievements:
• Development of a Revolutionary Safe Battery: I created a 3.4 Ah LCO batteryfeaturing a novel approach with conductive polymer layers, rendering itresistant to thermal runaway. This breakthrough solution significantly enhancesbattery safety and reliability, opening new possibilities for their applications.
• Plasma-Based Material Processing: I developed a unique technique for efficientrecycling, modification, and purification of anode materials, as well as relithiatingcathode materials of lithium-ion batteries. These advancements significantly improve lithium-ion battery performance.
• Practical Application in Industry: I participated in the development of lithium-ionbatteries and related products at JSC "AK "Rigel," leading tothe creation of innovative 6,000 Ah batteries. I implemented solutions to enhance explosion and fire safety.
• Expanding Battery Technologies: At LLC "NPP "Energy Systems," I expandedthe scope of developed batteries to include lead-acid, nickel-metal hydride, and nickel-cadmium types. My extensive experience in battery development andproduction across various types has enabled the creation of advanced technologies that have significantly impacted the industry.
Theoretical and Applied Skills. I possess a comprehensive skill set, enabling me to confidently lead independent research as well as effectivelymanage scientific teams. My deep expertise in materials science andelectrochemistry, combined with strong leadership qualities, allows me to successfully implement scientific projects of any complexity.
TechnicalExpertise:
• Battery Development: I am proficient in all stages of battery development, fromelectrode materials to complete battery systems, encompassing design, materialssynthesis, testing, and certification. I excel in both developing innovative solutions and effectively implementing them into production.
• Electrochemical Methods: I am skilled in a wide range of electrochemical techniques, includinggalvanostatic and potentiostatic charge-discharge, cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, overcharge, overdischarge, short circuit testing, potentiostatic intermittent titration technique (PITT), and galvanostatic intermittent titration technique (GITT).
