Гинигаддара Буддхини

Buddhini completed her PhD at the Centre for Smart Modern Construction (c4SMC), Western Sydney University (WSU), Australia. She was selected as a doctoral scholar through the competitive scholarship program offered by c4SMC in 2018. She conducted her PhD research under the title “Developing a skill profile prediction model for typologies of offsite construction”. She led the CIB Student Chapter at WSU as the executive committee president 2020/21. Buddhini is a dual qualification holder in both quantity surveying and management accountancy. She achieved first-class honours by completing the Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Quantity Surveying at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, in 2017. Simultaneously, she obtained the associate membership at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the United Kingdom, as a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Her passion for academia and industry paved her path to becoming an academic with aspirations to create knowledge.
