Practical skills:
· Preparation of different materials (ferromagnetic, ferroelectric, etc.) with different techniques, such as solid-state reaction, tartaric method, sol-gel technique, co-precipitation, etc., for obtaining particle sizes in the micro and nano range.
· Preparation of different composites with different polymers, such as epoxy, Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), etc., using various techniques, such as compression moulding and casting.
· Analyze the results of the prepared samples using different techniques, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDXS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM).
· Studying the DC electrical properties (for example, conductivity and activation energy) with temperature and the ACelectrical properties (for example, permittivity, dielectric loss, andconductivity) with different frequencies (low and high frequencies) and temperatures by two-probe method with an LCR meter.
Studying the magnetic and electrical properties (permittivity, permeability,conductivity, dielectric loss, and magnetic loss) in very high and ultrahigh-frequencyusing a vector network analyzer (VNA) for potential electromagnetic applications.
