About

Silvia De Nardis has a degree in Sociology and Applied Social Sciences and holds a PhD in Spatial, Urban and Landscape Planning at the University of Rome La Sapienza. She is a Research-Fellow at the Department of Social and Economic Sciences (DISSE) where she collaborates in theoretical and empirical social research projects in the disciplinary field of Sociology of the Environment and Territory. In the same Department, she is nominated Subject Expert and Teaching Assistant for the teachings of Urban and Territorial Sustainability and Urban Sociology. Her research interests focus on urban regeneration, cultural heritage, bottom-up processes and informal practices in the contemporary city.
