Dr. Samit Kumar Ghosh currently serves as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, Hyderabad. Dr. Ghosh holds a B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kalyani University, West Bengal, India, and an M.Tech. with specialization in Electronics System and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha, India. With twelve years of teaching experience, his research interests encompass biomedical signal processing, machine learning, deep learning for healthcare, time-frequency analysis, non-stationary signal processing, telehealthcare monitoring, and communication engineering. He has authored over 31 publications in refereed international journals and conferences, including IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier. Dr. Ghosh has also contributed to several book chapters as an author/editor. His research work has been presented at prominent conferences such as IEEE Indicon 2019 and IEEE Indicon 2020 and through poster presentations at the 2021 IEEE Sensors in Sydney, Australia. Furthermore, Dr. Ghosh regularly reviews various international journals, including IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, and IET.
