Ph.D. in Applied Ecology - Microbial Ecology, University of São Paulo (USP), and Visiting Ph.D. Scholar, University of California at Davis (UCDavis). Masters in Soil Science, Santa Catarina State University (UDESC), and Agronomical Engineer Bachelors from the same institution. Gives classes and lectures in Soil Microbiology, Rhizosphere Biology, and Plant-Microbiome Interaction. Has experience in Soil Microbiology and Biochemistry and Microbial Molecular Ecology, focusing on Metagenomics and amplicon sequencing. Member of two research groups: Microbiomes (CENA - USP) and Soils and Sustainability (CEO - UDESC). Member of the American Society for Microbiology since 2015. Reviewer of more than 15 peer-review Journals and Editor of the Frontiers in Microbiology and Frontiers in Soil Science Journals.
