Guilherme Schneider Rasador is a researcher at the Department of Economics and International Relations at the FederalUniversity of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil. He holds a Master’s degree inInternational Strategic Studies from the Postgraduate Programme inInternational Strategic Studies at UFRGS, where he is currently pursuing aPh.D. He is also a research fellow at the South American Institute forStrategy and Development (ISAPE). His research focuses on InternationalPolitical Economy, geoeconomics and economic statecraft, with a particularemphasis on US–China relations and US economic statecraft. His recentpublications have appeared in The Pacific Review (2025) and International Economics and Economic Policy (2024).
