The "Cytokines and Biomarkers" Center for Collective Use operates under the Pasteur Institute. It consists of a molecular immunology laboratory and a central clinical diagnostic laboratory, both of which conduct a broad array of clinical diagnostic tests, including general clinical, cytological, virological, and serological analyses. In addition to standard tests, the center also carries out specialized studies utilizing advanced technology. A key focus is placed on a thorough evaluation of the immune system. The center offers various assessments, including lymphocyte phenotyping, measurement of oxidative burst activity and phagocytic function, serum immunoglobulin levels, components of the complement system, circulating immune complexes (CIC), nitroblue tetrazolium (NBT) test, cytokines, hormones, markers of acute inflammation, and the determination of chemokines and cytokines.
