Zoia R Korobova

Dr. Zoia R. Korobova is a researcher and physician specializing in immunology within infectious diseases. She earned her MD in pediatrics in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and worked as a pediatrician. Expanding her clinical expertise, Dr. Korobova completed an international internship in obstetrics and gynecology at Sofia Medical University, Bulgaria. In 2020, she joined the Laboratory of Molecular Immunology at the Saint Petersburg Pasteur Institute for a Ph.D. program. She successfully defended her thesis in 2025. Her area of research focuses on adaptive immune responses, particularly T-cell dynamics, cytokine profiles, immune phenotyping, and antibody responses in infectious diseases. Alongside her research at the Pasteur Institute, Dr. Korobova serves as an assistant professor at the First Pavlov Medical University of Saint Petersburg, a role she began in 2022. She is also deeply committed to community health initiatives. She previously served as scientific and event coordinator for the street medicine charity organization ‘Charity Hospital’ and led her own project funding shelters for homeless women.
