About

Blaž Rodič is an associate professor of information studies at the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo Mesto. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana and obtained his doctorate from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences at the University of Maribor, where he studied systems theory and cybernetics under Dr. Miroljub Kljajić, one of the pioneers of this field in Slovenia.

As a lecturer, he has been a visiting scholar at the Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland, at the University of Houston, at the University of Economics in Katowice and at the Technical University of Sofia. He has participated in several national and international research and development projects. His scientific research is focused on the development of simulation models of social and organizational systems using methodologies such as System Dynamics (SD), Discrete Event Simulation (DES), and Agent-Based Modeling (ABM), as well as the development of decision support systems using Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) methods.
