About

Numan Gozubenli is a researcher faculty member and a director at the energy company, SEMS Corp. As a entrepreneur, Gozubenli brings new technologies to private companies on strategies of mass production, assists about mass production of new technologies in sustainable way,

and serves as a technology advisor in technopark of Harran University.

Additionally, at the side of his responsibilities at SEMS, Gozubenli serves as the Entrepreneur in the Tubitak for Harran University ’s College of Engineering. For this task, Numan works with faculty and research entrepreneur to build new technology

companies in Turkey. As advisor to these companies, Numan shows them how to operate innovatively, and profitably and has been successful in advising, starting.

He helps develop and commercialize products, while leading process operation teams on the safest approach for creating and maintaining profitable operations. As a Scientist, Numan teaches Lab Safety to undergraduates and graduates besides

researcher in the HARRAN University ’s College of Engineering.

Before going the University of Florida, Numan was the founder and Managing Director of SEMS, a private equity firm headquartered in Turkey. Prior to forming SEMS, Numan was a research assistant practices on solar panels for more efficiency in HARRAN University at Turkey. In his 3 years in Şanlıurfa, Gozubenli worked with early stage, entrepreneur local colleges, the technology activities in university. His specialty was identifying chemical processes for new approach of that process, redesigning that, and delivering value added solutions that enhanced a college’s operating profitability, increased its quality, and expanded the university’s science efficiency in all around the world. Numan has 5 years professional experience in private equity, venture investment and finance. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Selcuk University, with high honors,and received a ME and PhD degree from Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Florida
