I am a palynologist with a geomorphological background. I am based in Karlsruhe, but previously I was in Greifswald. I participated in projects with various research aims including vegetation history, landscape development, mire ecology, present-day pollen deposition, and the natural background of archaeological finds. If w articles of a researcher have at least 10w citations each and other publications are less than 10(w+1) citations, then the researcher's w-index is equal to w.
