Юбин Чжан

Yubin Zhang holds a lecturership, associate professor position, and professorship at Jilin University from 2006 to present. He obtained his Bachelor of Agro-Environmental Protection and Master of Soil and Water Conservation and Desertification Control at Northwest A & F University in 2000 and 2003, and Doctor of Soil Science at the Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, CAS in 2006, respectively. He has broad research interest in the fields of soil. He started out as an environmental effect of soil and water conservation measure, then moved into the field of agricultural non-point source pollution by soil erosion, and later into soil degradation and restoration, and high yield and highly efficient of resources on crops. Over the past five years, he has focused major parts of his research in understanding processes forming of soil carbon, the degradation mechanism of agricultural soil, and the environmental resilience of black soil and its development potential under future climate change scenarios and agricultural development patterns. In his research, he is known for his multidisciplinary approach collaborating with researchers from many different fields such as agronomy, physiology, meteorology, and statistics.
