Ruben Barreto has a degree in Electrical and Computing Engineering (2019) and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering - Power Systems (2023) from the School of Engineering of Polytechnic of Porto (ISEP) in Portugal. Currently, he is a researcher at GECAD — Research Group on Intelligent Engineering and Computing for Advanced Innovation and Development, ISEP/IPP, where his research interests encompass the optimization of energy communities, demand response, clustering, and smart grids.
