Siwei Xiao is a PhD student at Birmingham Business School, specializing in Managament Science. He obtained his master's degree from the University of Bristol in 2022 and bachelor's degrees from Yangzhou University & Charles Sturt University. Siwei Xiao’s research interest lies at the intersection of Business Analytics and Operational Research, specifically focusing on Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). His expertise encompasses evaluating system performance using statistical analysis, machine learning, algorithms, and non-parametric modelling methods such as DEA. Recently, his works were accepted by journals such as Socio Economic Planning Sciences, Journal of Brand Management, and Operational Research.
