Prof. Nortoji A.Khujamshukurov - Professor of the Department of "Biotechnology" Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and Head of the Department of Organic Agriculture, Research Institute of Plant Genetic Resources under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor. Author of more than 260 scientific and methodological works, including 5 textbooks, 24 educational and methodical works. He is the author of 6 invention patents and was awarded the 2nd place for 2 textbooks in co-authorship and the 3rd honorary place for 1 study guide at the republican competition "Author of the best textbook and study guide – 2015-2017". More than 10 regulatory documents regulating specific types of activities of higher educational institutions have been developed and improved. He is the scientific supervisor of more than 20 projects that are aimed at improving the quality and increasing the range of products produced by the agricultural sectors of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Member of the Commission of the Scientific Council for the award of the scientific degree of Doctor of Science DSc.02/30.12.2019.B.38.01 at the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Deputy representative of the scientific seminar at the scientific council for the award of the scientific degree of Doctor of Science DSc.03./30.12.2019.T.04.01 at the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology. Member of the scientific seminar at the Scientific Council for the award of the scientific degree of Doctor of Science DSc/02/30.12.2019.B.53.01 of the Institute of Experimental Biology and Plant Genetics, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Deputy Chairman of the Scientific and Technical Council "Biotechnology" at the Association of Enterprises of Alternative Fuels and Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Under his leadership, more than 20 master's (MSc), 8 candidate (PhD) 2 doctoral (DSc) dissertations have been defended. His students are holders of state scholarships of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan - 2, state scholarships named after Abu Rayhon Beruniy - 8. Organizer of over 10 local and international conferences and symposiums.
