Participated as a responsible performer in the Project for the development of an oral drug delivery system for the treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases. In short: pectin hydrogels with control structural and mechanical properties were used as a carrier; 5-aminosalicylic acid was used as an introduced substance; the developed delivery system has a controlled drug release profile; the main results are published in articles.

Was the responsible performer of the R&D stage of the Project of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the development of biomaterials for regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. In short: composite biomaterials have been developed based on natural polysaccharides (pectin, chitosan) to prevent postoperative abdominal adhesion formation in experimental animals. On the basis of pectin polysaccharides with a control macromolecular structure, hydrogel biomaterials with adjustable mechanical properties, biodegradation duration, low immunogenicity and good biocompatibility have been developed.

I’m was engaged in studies of the immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory effects of functional food ingredients based on pectin polysaccharides, studies of the relationship between the structure of biopolymers and their effect on biological systems in vitro, in vivo. I have experience in modeling inflammatory human diseases on experimental animals (endotoxin shock, acute and chronic intestinal diseases).

I’m was the scientific leader of the project on the development of functional food products at EFKO Group of Companies. In short: the work was devoted to the search for ways to reduce the anti-nutritional properties of plant (soy) proteins and the creation of food products based on modified soy proteins aimed at reducing the allergenic and atherogenic potential of food.

Currently I work as a Leading Researcher at the FGBU National Medical Research Center for Rehabilitation and Balneology ", Ministry of Health of Russia.Responsible performer of the R&D stage of State Assignments:" Development of composite bioactive ion-track wound dressing for reconstructive surgery ", " Use of low-intensity physical factors to enhance the regenerative potential of the stromal-vascular fraction of human adipose tissue”.
