Mahamud, A.G.M.Sofi Uddin

Mahamud is a doctoral student in the Momany Lab (Fungal Biology Group) at the University of Georgia. He focuses on antimicrobial resistance mechanisms in Aspergillus fumigatus. He holds a Master’s in Food Safety and Regulatory Science from Chung-Ang University in South Korea and a B.Sc. in Fisheries from Bangladesh Agricultural University. Mahamud is particularly interested in developing strategies to address the coexistence of pathogenic bacteria and fungi in the agricultural and medical sectors.
